PARVEEN BABI - IN REMEMBRANCE

                                            PARVEEN BABI - IN REMEMBRANCE

This is in the memory of one of the most beautiful, educated and glamourous model turned actresses of Indian cinema, Parveen Babi. She was not only an exquisite beauty but highly talented girl who mesmerized audience with her screen presence and performance during her time in Indian film Industry.

Parveen Babi, the only child, born to her parents after 14 years on 4th April 1949, went to Mount Carmel High School and ended up with a degree in English literature from St Xavier’s College Ahmedabad. From the beginning she had interest in painting, writing, reading and playing piano which she  continued till her later life. She was a simple fun- loving girl, with peculiar sense of humor and wanted to settle down happily married. Vying for love, happiness and fulfilment, destiny did not oblige, and played its part otherwise, leading to unhappiness and disappointments.

Her journey in filmdom began with her first movie Charitra, a role where she as a young girl portrays a character which was bold for that time, and even most of the present aspiring actresses wouldn’t do such a role in their introductory movie. Charitra, though not a commercial success, but Praveen’s eye-catching presence was applauded by the cinema goers. In a short span of her life, Parveen Babi achieved much more than she could imagine.

Parveen Babi had beauty, grace, fame, stardom and everything to live for. Her oration, calling Ghar as gar, bhai as bai ... was so classy that when u see her movies it seems totally a part of her persona, a typical accent ...the voice that enriched the silver screen, certainly she exuded aura of courage and impish vulnerability. She was petite and vivacious, could be saree clad simple woman at one moment and westernized glamourous the next. The first female super star though not naïve, although a woman who was sensitive, knowledgeable and strong but she could not comprehend human relationships during her time in  Indian film Industry.

Devastatingly beautiful, glamorous with striking personality, Parveen Babi was a woman with perfect beauty, chiseled features and silky long hair falling beyond her shoulders, ravishing and bright with a bewitching smile.
Of course, she was India’s Parveen Babi, the first  Indian movie star to feature on the cover of TIME magazine in 1976.
"I didn’t really try for the
Time Cover, these things
Just happen to me, Sweet Heart”.
Parveen Babi
This iconic cover photo of (Time) Parveen Babi speaks for itself...... bold, yet shy, radiant, mystic, and presents the unique facade of a woman who lived and died on her own terms.
Her magnificent moment when she learnt about Time cover photo...In her own words ...
“I was in plane en route from Bombay to London when I first saw the Time copy. It was quite funny. There I was in first class cabin and in the seat next to me was jet setting sportsman named Peter Jansen. We got talking and the chap went on and on, mostly about himself. He fished out a personal photo-album from somewhere and told me all about his varied activities- his career as a racing driver, his frequent flights around the world, his parties and so on. After a while he turned to me and said, and what do u do by the way? I replied, Oh my! I just make faces, dance and pretend to sing for the cameras, nothing very much really . So, he resumed talking about himself.”
“At Rome airport, Peter decided to get off, but I stayed put. Then Barb, a friend of mine who was in transit dropped in and showed me the copy of TIME. Soon after Peter returned and began talking about himself exactly where he had left off. After a while he said again, and by the way, what do u do? Surely you do something exciting! So, I dropped the copy of Time in his lap and said, well look, at least TIME thinks it’s exciting. When Peter recognized who was on the cover, his eyes boggled. He did a double take and spluttered, You! Is that You? I nodded. Everything changed after that. I was invited to his villa in Switzerland and down to his house in Riviera and heaven knows where else. I turned him down politely”.
Being on the (Time) cover was not the ultimate thing for me .
Parveen Babi

It was Parveen Babi's photograph on Time Magazine cover in South Africa that made him stop in his tracks and come to Bombay.

‘She was so beautiful, how could I not want to come all the way to meet her'. The camera man told me he was meeting Parveen Babi on the sets of 'Burning Train' the next day. In what was an attempt to be funny I ended up saying, you are not Parveen Babi, this lady on Time cover is Parveen Babi. She laughed and said,Oh! I don't use make-up off the sets.Do I look that bad without it?
Bob Christo (At that point admitted how he had dreamt of meeting her for six months, Babi and he worked in five films, became good friends and neighbours).

Parveen Babi was a natural beauty, no doubt that was God’s gift to her. With those chiseled features, typical elegant personality she could carry off as stylishly dressed woman effortlessly. She could do any kind of role and her comedy timing was so spot on, be it Rang Birangi, Geri Chot urf Door Desh and other movies. In her short life, Parveen Babi left behind numerable movies that were commercially successful.
Few of her quotes ...

The essence of Spirituality lies in being a good Human and following good, positive principles.

(with her mother Jamal Bhakti Babi)

I feel responsible towards my mother whom I have called to
live with me now. Perhaps in the past, with my great need of
independence, I overlooked the fact that my mother is dependent
on me. She has nobody but me. I couldn’t desert her at this stage
of her life and leave India forever.
Surely, I can’t be expected to sit back and be treated like a door mat.
As a woman I have my Ego, my Pride. I could never become
a man’s tag. I haven’t let the partner shatter me into pieces because
I know there is no one to pick me up.I am a loner.
If you are made to just wear good clothes and stand in the background how are you going to show your talent? It’s the male actor who matters more today in our Films. One or two action films became hits and that has set off the trend.
They could see their magazine writing
about Parveen Babi’s personal life more
than they could sell their copies writing
about the Films She is working in or about
her as an actress.

Those days, we actresses, which included Zeenat, Shabana, Neetu, Rekha, Rakhee and I, were quite friendly with each other. Whenever we shot together, we would sit and gossip and laugh about our wigs and dresses we wore. There was no malice towards each other in any way. We had a lot of fun working together.
Parveen Babi
Few of the following excerpts are from The Confessions of Parveen Babi (The Illustrated weekly of India, by Pritesh Nandi).
Emotive, heartening and touching article by Parveen Babi.
“ON THE JULY 27TH, 1980 I RETURNED TO INDIA, TO MY HOME, TO MY FAMILY, TO MY FRIENDS AND TO MY CAREER. I WAS SO HAPPY TO BE BACK IN MY WORLD, WHERE I FELT I REALLY BELONGED. I DECIDED TO WIPE OUT UG AND HIS WARNINGS OUT OF MY SYSTEM AND START LIFE ANEW ON A POSITIVE FOOTING.
WITH EACH PASSING DAY UG SEEMED TO GROW MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF RELAPSE. HE STARTED WARNING. EVERY TIME I SAW HIM, HE TALKED ABOUT NOTHING ELSE. THE POSSIBILITY OF RELAPSE COULDN’T BE IGNORED. IT STARTED DISTURBING ME, HIS WARNING STARTED TO HAUNT ME AND EVEN THOUGH DISTURBING I FELT FINE PHYSICALLY AS WELL AS MENTALLY......STRONG ENOUGH TO FACE THE WORLD AND MY CAREER.
THE STRUGGLE OF SURVIVAL IN SHOWBIZ, ITS PRESSURES AND ITS DEMANDS WERE GETTING AT ME. I KEPT ON REPORTING FOR WORK IN THAT CONDITION, SUPPRESSING AND CONTROLLING MY FEAR.
IT WAS MY FAITH IN UG BELIEF THAT ANY THOUGHT THAT ENTERS HIS CONSCIOUSNESS CAN NEVER GO WRONG, IS WHAT FRIGHTENED ME. I CERTAINLY DID NOT WANT TO GET MAD AGAIN. UG’S WARNINGS GREW SO INTENSE THAT THEY ALMOST BECAME THREATS.
HOW I WISHED I COULD BRUSH ASIDE UG’S COMMENTS AND FORGET ABOUT THEM. IT DISTURBED ME DEEPLY I COULD NEVER BELIEVE IT, NOR COULD I DISBELIEVE IT.
I WAS AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE WITH UG, HE PLAYFULLY LOOKED AT MY PALM AND SAID, THERE IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER BREAK IN YOUR CAREER", GOD ! MY CAREER WAS THE CENTRE OF MY EXISTENCE, IT WAS ALL I HAD AND I DID NOT WANT TO LOOSE IT. I WAS WORKING HARD, ENOUGH WORK TO OCCUPY FOR NEXT FIVE YEARS- SO WHY SHOULD THERE BE BREAK?
DESPITE HAVING PRACTICALLY EVERYTHING GOING FOR ME IN LIFE, I CONSTANTLY SUFFERED FROM FEELING OF DISSATISFACTION, DISILLUSIONMENT WITH EXISTING REALITY...IS WHAT HAD TAKEN ME TO FAMOUS PHILOSOPHER, J KRISHNAMURTI AND NOW BROUGHT ME TO THE DOORSTEP OF UG KRISHNAMURTI. THIS WAS PART OF MY SPIRITUAL SEARCH.”
The full article (The confessions of Parveen Babi in Illustrated Weekly of India)) is worth reading and heartwarming, where Parveen herself confesses about ambitions, career, fame, stardom, her mental and emotional state, her pain, strength and weaknesses. She comes across as a strong woman who wanted to do well, unfortunately she fell deep into her own shell, becoming more dependent on people around her resulting in driving herself to loneliness, depression, anxiety and other personal/ professional problems. She admits that she felt mentally and emotionally fragile under the compulsions and pressures of stardom which had brought her so much fame. She is straight forward about how she ran away from the set out of fear, shows Parveen Babi was forthright in speaking out about herself, that she concedes the plight of those unpredictable days of her life.

Parveen Babi had the courage to admit the state in which she was, as she may have been wanting to come out of it. Her desire to come back to movies again and again (whenever she left Mumbai) was deep in her heart. She didn’t realize that successful stars globally have such issues, leading to various personal and professional problems. In today’s times, big celebrities are talking frankly about depression due to stardom pressures & demands, tensions on sets, fame, and importantly personal relationships.

What led this educated, intelligent, well-read woman who was fiercely independent to spirituality? Was it her “inner voice”, or she just blindly followed the path of spirituality, driven by ‘friends’. Why such an actress of her caliber, who could perform flawlessly till her last movie started suffering from fear?  Being a strong and professional woman, why she became mentally and emotionally sensitive?

A woman who regularly followed Jane Fonda's aerobics, trying to keep herself fit, would jog routinely, how could she have negative stress traits? Why was she apprehensive about spiritual gurus that she wanted to leave them in between?  Extremely lonely at top, Parveen Babi was not getting the right guidance from the spiritual gurus she trusted.

There can also be combination of factors for stress and anxiety  (known/ unknown, personal or professional), such as mood swings, depression, fear of losing stardom, loneliness, medicines, health problems like diabetes from which she suffered for a long time, failed relationships with married men which were the headlines or showing her as psychotic in a film all over the Country.

Two award winning actresses agreeing to act in a movie directed by Babi’s “friend”, the movie showing one of colleagues as a psychotic was distasteful. How devastating it must have been for Parveen Babi to see herself being presented in this way on screen? Never in the history of Indian Film Industry had this happened before, showing one of their working colleague in a disturbing role that too in her/his life time and that too without the person’s consent. A story being written behind her back without her knowledge hits the cinema halls depicting her as a neurotic woman, resulting in total betrayal by once upon a time her “close one”. Becoming popular by her mere name is no great applause, getting awards on her “story” is no success... Even after she passed away, again portraying her in a “distasteful story” was the ultimate deprivation of the portrayer.

If you are attacking your own people in public forum from so many angles, obviously you gain universally.... you are successful and getting awards... but it’s sickening and detestable always ... there are people all around .... Getting success from the “story” of one of the leading actress of Indian cinema and showing himself a knight.... Sic.

Yes, I suppose the film affected her, as did the men in her life. She was a wonderful company, very articulate, a terrific conversationalist, extremely well read. In fact, she had begun to write her memoirs. I had published portions of her intended memoirs in the Illustrated weekly of India when I edited it. Now of course we will never hear full story.
Pritesh Nandi, Journalist and TV Presenter.

Parveen Babi was humane, strong self-respecting woman admitting her mistakes. She was always in limelight and wanted to escape the thorny spotlight that pierced her vitality, leading to melancholy. No one deserves such unkind, acerbic and harsh narratives, more so, for someone so vulnerable.

'Arth' made Mr Bhatt, it un-made Parveen Babi. I do think if real life experience has to be adapted into a film or a book, it should be at the cost of hurting yourself, not others'.
Khalid Mohammed

Much before my generation, in the 70's some heroines were driven to paranoia and ultimately declare schizophrenics and written off. A gorgeous actress was found dead after being labelled that.
Raveena Tandon

The heroine of Kaalia, Parveen Babi, would emerge from the make-up room looking stunning but she was not all quite there. She did seem to be mentally disturbed. I did make attempts to talk to her, if I could be of any help. She would smile gratefully and say, “I am fine, just feel low at times, its nothing I can't handle".
Asha Parekh

Her final affair with particular actor finished her self-confidence.She cracked up after that. She couldn't take the pressures of being naked in front of camera. The exhibitionism required to perform in front of camera tormented her. She quietly and quickly withdrew herself from rat race to the extent that no one could keep track of her.
 Pritesh Nandi

She had come to visit us once. She seemed perfectly all right. She was laughing and speaking to us casually. I didn't think anything was wrong with her. But she was never seen outside. She must have been nursing some grief.
 Padmini Kohlapuri

Parveen was my sister's friend. She treated me like a kid sister. We shared make-up on the set too. We shared a comfort level. .On Shaan, we were told she was suffering from jaundice. Eventually, Parveen returned and shot it quickly. She had put on some weight and looked lovely! From no angle could one say she was unwell. The last time I met her was years ago at a party in Madh island.
 Bindiya Goswami

Spreading malicious rumors and making concocted stories about anyone who is intelligent, smart or a competitive threat, a ploy used by some powerful Bollywood “A Listers” through their nefarious machinations since that time and even now. Wonder if a #metoo will ever expose the people who are envious, superficial and back stabbers and are bent upon destroying successful and popular actors/actresses.

Hats off to people who love and respect Parveen and give tribute to her in their own way. The movies may come tomorrow showing today's heroines as Parveen Babi ... nobody can be be Parveen Babi on/off screen. The lady deserves respect and let her be where she is now.

Parveen Babi was very conscious about herself and her professionalism was intact till she began her spiritual journey and left movies  mid-way. Her flawless acting talent came naturally to her and she could share screen effortlessly with any actor/actress of her time. There are teary eyed, action, aggressive roles enacted by her...she was at par excellence ....be it her lashing (chabook) by saying “Namak Haram” in  'Mahaan', or "Oh bhai Saheb” in 'Rang Birangi' in a funny way or .... be it any movie... Her’s was spontaneous acting ever.

I was always a health fanatic. I would diet and exercise a lot. I was also the first among heroines who exercised and was into Jane Fonda work out. Every morning I would wake up early, go jogging and then report to shooting. Later some of my colleagues would ask me for certain tips and we would exchange.
 Parveen Babi

It was Zeenat and Parveen who popularized that thin figure. People started getting aware of their form in 80’s.
 Neetu Singh

She would reach the sets before Amitabh. She was always dieting. During the shoot of Kranti she even fainted because of her dieting. She was very beautiful. She helped many people in Industry, but they have forgotten her., I didn’t, because I owe her my success .Even when She was dieting, she would make sure food was cooked at her home for us She was very kind. Sometimes she would have vada pav with us during the entire day of shooting.
She was very beautiful and had a very innocent look. She would always come for makeup rehearsals a day before the shoot. Parveen Babi was about what she used to eat. Everyday her lunch comprised a slice of brown bread, egg whites and a glass of juice. We used to be four-member team staff working with her and she would get the cook to prepare a full meal for us. We would be embarrassed to eat in front of her.
 Bharat Godembe
I think rivalry between Zeenat and me, was made up. I was always very confident of myself and
never really bothered what anyone else was doing. I never compared myself with anybody. In fact,
it was Zeenat and I who literally brought a whole new generation to the movies.

Zeenat Aman was the only actress from Indian Film Industry to condole the death of Parveen Babi.

Those days smoking and drinking was quite taboo. I found that very hypocritical because everyone including senior stars would secretly indulge in it and still criticize others who did the same. I couldn’t understand these double standards because I never believed in hiding things. I have always been open about everything, be it my likes, dislikes or my relationship.
Parveen Babi

Parveen Babi had a medical condition. She probably had an extremely hard life behind walls and curtains.... Yet she went ahead and entertained the country for eons. When you remember her, you should remember her with respect. There is no concept like ‘Parveen Babi” irrespective of what you are talking about. I was very offended by the fact that they were turning her into species.
 Sushmita Sen

The woman who was ahead of her time and believed in "live and let live", was hounded by derogatory articles, write-ups throughout her life. Parveen Babi started sliding into her cocoon from which she could not come out or she did not want to come out of that shell. The media, magazines, people continued to play havoc in her life, bruising her inwardly forever even after her lifetime. She suffered some very difficult times, the hurt Parveen Babi could not heal, though she was determined to reinvent herself.
                                               (with Hrishikesh Mukerjee)
Rang Birangi was a very cute film, after all it was Hrishikesh Mukherjee film, all his films are a real treat to the eye. When Hrishida approached me for Rang Birangi, he was thoroughly convinced about me and told me that I should do the film. I am fortunate to have worked with a director of such great caliber who is, moreover, such a lovely man.
Parveen Babi

A point came when she was not very happy about her glamour image and wanted to be directed by good director. Its nostalgic, when you see her movies post 79-80’s on how she was changing, her “glamour” to simple get ups, wearing sarees and doing typical Indian women roles adapting herself easily in the new mold. She could act easily be it comedy, serious, emotional or action roles and she was almost attaining the category of “dream girl Hema Malini” who reigned for decades.

Parveen Babi had charisma of  beautiful Rekha which never fades and she may not have inherited those legendary songs like Zeenat’s but had her share of lip syncing elegantly, legendary Asha Bhosle’s Jeete Hain Shaan Se, Marten Hai Shaan Se. The trio did few movies together, with their long association, the rapport was evident on screen.

Parveen Babi, Rekha and Zeenat have made their contribution to Indian Cinema with  charm, style and performance in their own way. Sadly with one gone too early, Rekha and Zeenat still continue to represent the same charm of the era the trio belonged to.
Parveen Babi is a female version of Dharmendra, only in her case, I wish it was the other way around.
  Rekha

Dev Anand was a very charming man, gallant gentle-man,non-interfering and terribly involved in his work.
Yet Another Favorite of mine was Dharmendra, who’s timing at comedy was just Perfect. For other’s comedy was such an effort, while Dharmendra would do it with so much ease and steal the show. He is one of the finest actors I have ever worked with.

It was Shashi Kapoor who was Internationally the most good-looking man I have ever come  across. And for decades he remained so. He was extremely charming and we got along very well. I have some pleasant memories of him.
I was very fond of Shatrughan Sinha. Shatru was very easy going person and not malicious at all.
Parveen Babi

And the final word comes from a Socialite who once told me that most stars left her cold, Parveen really managed to get through her. Parveen is different, she said, she is riveting, she made me stop .... And do you know what she reminded of Diana Keaton of Annie Hall Fame. (the lady had seen film a month earlier in New York).
Three months later, Annie Hall won the Academy Award for the best picture of the year and Diana Keaton won it for the best actress. I wonder now, is there something prophetic about this? Is Parveen going to prove that. She is as dazzling an actress as she is a beauty? only time will tell- An Extract from a book,” How the Stars ate a Reporter for Breakfast” ...Source- Indian Film magazine 1970s-80s.
If Mr. Shakespeare was in my shoes, He would have said, Parveen Babi was like an English Cottage on a winter night. Cold Exterior, warm Interior!

Over the years I have discovered a new whole world outside, writing philosophy, painting, organized thinking great and classical literature... There is just one life and so much to achieve.’

The Age of Philosophy: A critique of Pure Reason by Parveen Babi
Few excerpts from above article:
Our contemporary society erroneously defines a philosopher as any individual who conducts a logical analysis of existing and apparent reality. This perhaps is true that contemporary society no longer produces true Philosophers. Rationalists philosophers from Aristotle to Bertrand Russell have given philosophy methods of conducting syllogistic inferences and logical analysis and down the ages, these techniques have become so synonymous with philosophy, and the practice of true philosophic explorations so rare, that today, the practice of logical analysis has erroneously taken to mean the practice of philosophy.
But today, after centuries of following the philosophy of reason corruption and moral decay are rampant in society.
Our modern civilization’s philosophy of reason has only created chaos and corruption.
Its is time that we adopted what the greatest philosophers of mankind Jesus Christ, Mohammad and Buddha taught the highest order of reason combined with believe-belief in the positive, the truth, a higher reality, which helped them attain perfection.
Belief is the capacity, nurtured in human individuals, to recognize and acknowledge the ultimate truth -God.

She exuded form of open-hearted kindness that can only be described as active. Not only was she actively kind, she was almost impishly wry and sharply observant. But she was one of the first persons to call me smart. Her home was covered from floor to ceiling with books, more books than I’d ever seen outside a library. Her mind, despite what people said about it being ill, was sharp as a whip and filled with not just information but understanding. In those few hours she gave me a glimpse of a woman who had lived a life so large, it extended my own horizons in a flash. I remember vibrating with energy for weeks after.
 Sonali Dev

I would like to have a T.V show about literature, culture and cooking. I’m extremely good continental and french cook.
Parveen Babi

I shot her only once, for an Interior Magazine because she had started designing for hotels. I went to shoot at her Flat that she had designed herself. She was very humble and so beautiful, unlike what I had heard. There was a workshop in her house and She was so polite to the carpenters. We spoke about how she had moved from the Industry and lost interest in Films. She seemed very philosophical and Spiritual; she was talking a lot of sense. She even gave me tips for decorating my studio. Even though she looked bloated, her style and grace were exactly the same.
 Jayesh Seth

We had a deep emotional relationship. She was very beautiful, talented and spirited girl. I will remember for the good times we had together and for her sense of humour and ready laugh. The last time I saw her when we had the memorial service after Protima died . Parveen had come to pay her respect. I saw her then and she said, let us stay in touch but that it was more of a courtesy thing.
Kabir Bedi.

Parveen Babi wanted to host TV show (as speaking her mind in Shekhar Suman show, 'Simply Shekhar') she thought of hosting, said in her own words about TV show, ‘something entertaining, intelligent, creative, interesting, progressive and entertaining'.
Few of her comments from 'Simply Shekhar' are as follows:
There were not many Indian roles I could portray. I was an avid Hollywood film buff and had an instinct for comedy. Infact the one role I had enormous fun playing was not very well known film called Door-Desh urf Gheri Chot with Raj Babbar, as a wheeler-Dealer girl. Life is most precious Phenomena on the Face of earth. We must respect it, cherish it if we have, we must thank God for it. And we make best it on a positive way.
There may be attempts to re-portray her in films but its about time to respect the woman who is not there to react. No more movies on her will be ultimate tribute to a woman who was so popular with her shimmering beauty and magnetic charm. Had she lived, the kind of person she was, she would have surely penned her autobiography, perhaps then we would have learnt more about the star who was so honest, straight forward and ready to share her thoughts.

Parveen Babi lit up the Indian cinema screen, haunted by long lasting and enduring aroma of her identity. It's high time we acknowledge her contribution to Indian Film Industry.
Since she was a student of English literature, following lines are dedicated in her memory.

"And on that cheek, o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smile that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A Heart whose love is innocent!"
George Gordon, Lord Byron

Parveen Babi has been long gone, her last day on earth was 20th Jan, 2005. She is in God’s Art gallery now as she rests in Juhu Muslim Cemetery, Santa Cruz, Mumbai, India. As perfect she was, she is at peace and thinking;
Here with my perfect presence let me stay, for I am happy now!
Amen ... REST IN PEACE... Parveen Wali M. Khan Babi.

THE RISE OF ACTION GENRE - INDIAN ACTRESSES

THE RISE OF ACTION GENRE – INDIAN ACTRESSES The gradual progress of female action-oriented movies in Indian cinema started in late 80’s. The fundamental problem about the popularity and acceptance of heroine lead action movies in 80’s, continues to arise even at present, it is understandable with limited and prejudiced perception of audience about women in the dominant action roles, curtailed by the significant consideration extended to leading actors, with super heroes status, maintaining typical action formula. The quality of action-oriented film with inherent challenge requires natural talent with plausible personality and character. But it is only a decade since we are witnessing long delayed female action movies in modern times. At present, there are few female actresses, with merit, grit and determination to portray heroic roles and deserve ample opportunities to act in supreme performance action-centric movies. The debut of female ‘action act’ in Indian cinema was in

CONTEMPORARY INDIAN CINEMA - AN ANALOGY

CONTEMPORARY INDIAN CINEMA – AN ANALOGY Any structured introduction to actors implies constant and disparate opinions about their acting prowess, which vary from performance to performance, depending on the audience to determine and unravel the potential capabilities of the artist in the Indian Film Industry. Times have changed in the film industry, the film actors with the assistance of an experimental contingent, have been choosing substantial roles they prefer, in the modern era. Tabu, a Star exhilarating with masterly creativeness, well known for valorous experimentation in movies ,which have intrigue, suspense, mystery and complexity, inspiring sensitive subtle distinction for creative new comers like Tapsee Pannu and Bhumi. Some of the new competent artists have established their foothold proficiently, with conviction and commitment, giving outstanding performances, entering the league of contemporary acting geniuses.  Kareena Kapoor with her acting talent has d
